.fla-  To make a .fla just go to file and save as.
.mov - To make a .mov go to file amd export.
.swf- To make a .swf go to file and publish.
.html- To make a .html go to file and publish.

.fla - Opens in Flash and let's you edit it.
.mov- Saves it in a file that allows you to send to people.
.swf- Opens in Flash as animation.
.html - Let's you see on internet.

.fla - Can't be seen by people who don't have flash.
.mov- Cant be put into code.
.swf-  Can't be seen by people who don't have flash.
.html- Can't be used on Flash.

1.)  I learned how to change the color effect to alpha to make a ball fade in.
2.) I also learned how to animate a ball by using the movie tween to convert the ball into a symbol to be able to make the ball move.
3.) I learned how to make the ball decrease in size while it follows the path. To do it, I just had to change the size of w and h.
4.) I learned how to view my animation as a html.  As if it was on a website.
5.) I also that Flash isn't like Fireworks and you have to select the colors for the stroke and background color before making the dot.
